Large Double display Card

Oh What a beautiful Happy Birthday Card ! This card was made following a quick tutorial from Dawn's Stamping Thoughts. I really enjoy watching her tutorials. There are some great ideas from her. Here I followed the tutorial for the cut and went to town creating the rest! I find that most card cuts are easy to follow, however sometimes you just get stuck and look at it and think, hmm now what? This was pretty easy, I have a friend who's birthday is coming up, so this one was easy to get done. There are many angles to the card so you can see what it looks like folded and unfolded. The coordinating envelope is also made to go with it since the card is a different size than the normal.

Make a wish

My goodness it has been a few days since I've been able to get here and post. I hope that everyone had a great 4th of July weekend! It's been hectic around here, summer vacation is winding down into the last few weeks. I have been working on some Christmas cards and Christmas goodie boxes to get ahead of myself when the school year starts. It seems there is never any time between work, school and running a household!
Today I brought to show and tell a very cute and simple card titled "Make a wish". I love the bohemian DSP so I made it twice using the DSP and my two favorite colors Dapper Denim and Emerald Envy.

Happy Birthday to my sister

Here I have a birthday card done for my sister. I used one of my favorite stamp sets Gorgeous Grunge with Wisteria wonder and Strawberry Slush CC.
I used Stamping up's big number framelits for the 49 and added a little flag waving up top. Once finished with it I was proud that I was on top of getting birthday cards done for this busy month of May, however I forgot to mail it out on time! She did finally receive it only a few days past her birthday, ok maybe almost a week later. Lol but she loved it.

Birthday Present pop out

Good Sunday morning! Today I brought back an old design from Addinkandstamp.
The color combinations for this card are adorable! The DSP is from the Birthday Bouquet Designer Paper. Which all coordinates inside and out. The level of difficulty for this card is medium. Once complete you'll sit back and want to keep it for yourself!

A collection of beautiful Cards!

Hello fellow creative friends!..Things have just been crazy for the past few months and it has definitely limited my time on line to even do the slightest of posting on projects that have been done. Its crazy how fast life can go by when you don't take moments out to breathe! I'm sure many of us know how crazy life can get between work, being a mom, a wife, a taxi and new adventures you "think" you have time for. That's me!. Every day is a new adventure for me and the boys.
I've returned back to school part time, as well changed my job and am still keeping up with being a Demonstrator and Hair stylist. Too much? No way! Lets add in that my son is also a Senior in HS this year. Which adds so much more to the table! Vacation? Yes one of those are planned in there as well.
I've done numerous cards, birthday, get well, teacher appreciation, just because and I've finally found a few moments to get them posted for you.
This first one was a Birthday card for a wonderful CoWorker, I will admit this one took some time. I wanted it to be just perfect and Perfect is what it turned out to be!

The next one was my wonderful Husband's birthday card. Yes he turned THE BIG 40!. It was a wonderful day and he absolutely loved this card. He is my music man and the DSP fit perfect for the card.

Teacher Appreciation: Sometimes you meet people that absolutely amaze you in their ability not only to teach but to have compassion in what they do every day. Chris definitely deserved to be recognized!

This was a Mother's day card done for my BF's MIL, I took this idea from a previous card I had made. Cute colors!!

My final card, a quick card done because I was still in the going mode of crafting. This one still sits in my craft room. I love the DSP and Colors on this card. I could craft all day using these colors.

Don't forget STAMPIN UP! has released their new Annual Catalog!. Its a wonderful catalog with great products!. I'm getting ready to place my first order from it. If you are wanting a catalog or supplies you can shop with me 24/7!

Birthday greetings

I love the CS Baked Brown Sugar, it compliments the Stampin Up color Pool Party very nicely.
This design was found just searching the internet for various ideas.
I love coming to a Blog that has added a "sketch" page, where they sketch the outline and you use your imagination to design it.
After looking at this card, My eyes keep going to the background, after finishing this card I realized that I should have run it through the Big shot with an embossing folder. It would have "popped" just a little more..

A Happy 40th To my Best Friend

Today was my Best Friends Birthday so of course I had to do a birthday card for her. Today was extra special because she turned 40. She is my rock and deserves everything good to come her way. I stayed home from work due to my DS being sick, he's been sick since Saturday and can't seem to break a fever. My DH was home yesterday with him , So I took today off to stay with him. This also gave me a chance to get some crafting done along with making that Birthday card.
Here's the Birthday card:

Sunday Football, some snacks and A lot of crafting!

Happy Football Sunday!...My awesome DH took today off so we could spend the day watching Football together. What a great day, along with Football its been raining all day! Makes it even better. We've done a lot of snacking and made a pack we would stay in jammies all day. I know that I'll be doing a double work out tomorrow. (hehe)
I've also had a chance to get into the craft room and get a birthday card done for my Best friend's coworker who shares her birthday. Which is this Tuesday!. I have a lot of birthdays and anniversaries this month so I'm sure I'll stay busy.
I also made two tic tac holders that I saw on Pinterest. There are so many different styles I couldn't even tell you which one I saw. So credit goes out to everyone who has done one.

We plan on watching Football the rest of this Sunday afternoon and evening and do nothing else. What a great plan for a Rainy Sunday .

Happy Birthday Card , you can find the tutorial for this card by Lisa Young at addinkandstamp.com

A Quick Happy Birthday card

I finally finished a card lol. I've been so busy with "home improvement" projects that I haven't had time to just sit and craft. But tonight I made that time once the boys were settled with what they wanted to do in their own places. Which means for me "peace time".
So I finished a quick Happy Birthday card.
Nothin too fancy , just simple : )
I used the Wildflower Meadow Embossing folder and coordinating Stamp.

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday

This technique was found over at one of my favorite stops Lisa Young's Blog.
This was such a cute card when I first did it for Valentines. So I did it again,
When putting ribbon on the boxes, on the back side use scotch tape. It will hold the ribbon in place better.

A cute Punch

Here's a card that was purchased at an Open House. The Punch is a really cute punch. I dug through some of the cards that were done by me with this punch and found a belated birthday one done with this punch.
