This idea was found on a favorite blog spot of mine Lisa Young ...she has some beautiful cards ! I thought I would try the chalkboard effect , when doing it I was a little skeptic on doing the craft white ink in case I got way too much on there .. I'll try it again and see if I can come up with something without being skittish on applying that "chalky" look .. Thanks for stopping !
Early Monday morning - now that the week has started everything that goes with it starts to , being mom , taxi , getting ready for work and school .. But I had a few extra minutes this morning and did a quick card . This reminds me of my Aunt who loves planting flowers and always has a Smile ..
This was a quick card , I came across this one in my folder I must have saved long ago , so I tried it .. It's missing something ... Not quite sure yet ... I would give this one to my husband , being the music man he is .. And who doesn't like receiving a "just because" card :-)
This early sunday morning , now that i have the grad cards done i started to look around to see what i could do next, i love a good challenge . So I found many different pictures of a baby shoe and saw a cute one I liked and without a tutorial to follow ( or one you had to pay for ) , I improvised and made my own.. This turned out rather cute ..
I would love to share the "how did she do that" tutorial , As soon as I get some pieces together I'll get a video up on it.
Here's the final lay out for the ASU grad card I was asked to do .. I had it made with whisper white and I didn't like the look of it after staring at it for what seemed forever..so I ended up taking the whole thing apart and making it with very vanilla.
Another week has passed!..I'm looking forward to the end of the school year. Only 3 weeks 4 days left. Then Summer Vacation and LOTS more time to craft. There are so Many projects I want to do and maybe i'll finish those that I've started months ago that seem to pile up in the corner of my craft room!... I've been busy this morning looking through a lot of new blogs, doing the head "shake", you know that head shake, when you see something you like or think "oh ya thats a great idea" and you start shaking your head up and down...So I've joing a few and have really enjoyed seeing other ideas..
I look forward to adding more stuff to the blog as time goes on, for now I have just a few really cute cards to show off...Here they are : ) Thanks for visiting , please leave a comment so I know that I'm not talking to myself..(lol thanks!)

You can just click on the picture and it will take you to the website. As well any supplies needed you can shop through me at www.katscreations.stampinup.net .
You can click on the link to the left and it will show a few of the cards that were made with this sketch. I like to have things a little more Pazazz...Little plain for my taste but none the less still cute.
